St Dominics FC represents St Dominics Roman Catholic Church in Waddon , Croydon , Greater London.

The team is formed primarily of Parishoners and all Friends of the Church comprising all ages and backgrounds from our Community here in Waddon

A bit of History about St Dominic.

St Dominic (1170 - 1221) his real name is Santo Domingo De Guzman who was born in Spain and travelled across Europe mainly in Spain and Italy. He was the founder of the Friars Preachers, popularly called the Dominicans or Order of Preachers (OP), a Catholic religious order. Dominic is the patron saint of astronomers and the Dominican Republic.

Our Club Crest shown on the right is the Crest that is used by the City of Santo Domingo De Guzman which is the Capital of the Dominican Republic.

The formation of the team has brought a diverse group of people together of all ages playing and participating in a group game. Not only those playing but those who support and follow the team cheering us on during games. Also the fact the team has grown in numbers.
